These playful squirrel monkey (Saimiri oerstedii) are a rare gem of Costa Rica’s Pacific forests. Small, agile, and full of character, these endangered primates live in social groups, foraging in the canopy. This photo captures a beautiful glimpse of wildlife worth protecting.
